I already have nasturtiums, lavender and violets available elsewhere in my yard and am looking to add to those.
Here are some ideas:
Marigold: edible flowers (soups, salads) and leaves (treat as spinach.) |
Chammomile: I have some of these already though not yet in flower. Tastes faintly like apple; good for a calming tea. |
Sunflower. |
Carnations. |
Snap Dragons. |
This list was inspired by a spirit of food exploration.
